One of the biggest perks of business travel is being able to check out new cities. This year, I was lucky enough to be in Washington, D.C., during peak cherry blossom week! I met my mom, who lives in the D.C. area, that evening, and we made it to the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial just before sunset. The cherry blossoms were gorgeous, and they just got better as the sun went down – the pink growing more and more vibrant as the light turned golden.
